Go Zendaya! :D

Hi everybody :)

Today I would like to share with you an interesting example of how our society is 'stuck with prejudice', and it  somehow doesn't care about the fact that sometimes a simple prejudice, or a word expressed without any concern might hurt someone.
More in details, today I have focused my attention on Zendaya's reaction to criticism towards her outfit after her arrive at the Oscar. ( BTW she was amazing!)
For those of you who don't know her,   Zendaya Coleman is better known as Rocky in Disney's series "Shake-it up" in which she appears within the co-star Bella Thorne.
She arrived at the Oscar wearing her hair in long dreadlocks, things which provoked a massive racial criticism, especially by the well-known E's Show, Fashion Police.
She is not only super-talented, but also she has demonstrated how to deal with haters in a polite and perfect manner.

This is her reply:

As I have already  written in another post, we should never judge a book by its cover. We should never believe in stereotypes or support them, at least as much as anybody should believe that cows can fly.

With all my love,

  1. I agree, I think she handled this so gracefully yet powerfully at the same time! She's a beautiful, strong woman and I'm definitely a fan too!
